The Wee Hours

I’ve learnt that the little things in life could mean a great deal;

I’ve learnt that nobody can be exactly like you;

I’ve learnt not to try to change people;

I’ve learnt that love never fails;

I’ve learnt that there’s nothing as priceless as having a true friend;

I’ve learnt that being picture perfect is not what makes a relationship work;

I’ve learnt that unforgiveness is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die;

I’ve learnt to appreciate the processes God takes me through;

I’ve learnt that procrastination is a thief of destiny;

I’ve learnt to be myself and not someone else;

I’ve learnt not to underestimate people;

I’ve learnt that people do not always originally intend to hurt you, even if they do;

I’ve learnt that the past is behind and not ahead;

I’ve learnt to smile and to laugh (a lot);

I’ve learnt to say the words ‘I love you’;

I’ve learnt that people are not always what you expect them to be;

I’ve learnt that I’m not always beyond criticism;

I’ve learnt the importance of being young at heart;

I’ve learnt some lessons the hard way;

I’ve learnt that there is no limitation in Christ;

I’ve learnt that love is a beautiful thing;

I’ve learnt that dancing makes me so happy;

I’ve learnt to believe in people;

I’ve learnt to trust in the Lord;

I’ve learnt that injustice makes me wish I were Clark Kent;

I’ve learnt that the real you is who you are when no one is watching;

I’ve learnt that ignorance is not an excuse for breaking the law;

I’ve learnt that you can never be deserted, unless you choose to be;

I’ve learnt that knowing Christ is the best experience anyone could ever ask for;

I’ve learnt and indeed I am still learning;

How about you?
